Guideline for Presentation:
- You are not allowed to do paper reading.
- You must speak for at least 5 minutes and maximum of 10 minutes. Questions will be asked after your speech.
- Read your article and write major points on a paper and bring this paper to the presentation. This paper will help only to recall what to speak about next.
- Use varying voice during the presentation. You shouldn't be presenting news in the presentation. Instead, emphasize on important points by raising your voice etc.
- Speak small sentences.
- Use very easy words which are easy to understand.
- If you are to say a long/difficult sentence, there is no harm in repeating it slowly so that everybody clearly understands it.
- Prove on the stage that you have two arms/hands and two legs/feet. i.e. don't stand like a statue. Take small steps and use your hands to refer to previous things etc.
- Don't stare at one person in the Hall. Sweep your eyes across the Hall. You are not allowed to look at me during the presentation.
